About the event
Join us for the 2nd Annual Other Girls Tea Party! This year’s theme is “What is a Real Girl’s Girl?”
Hint: they care about born and preborn girls
Purpose: This past year there has been a lot of talk on social media about what a Girl’s Girl is. We will be discussing what the Bible says vs what the culture tells us. This year will be a more intimate tea party with just 15 spots available to women of all ages. We have a room just for us. Our goal is to drink tea, dress cute, and have fun, but also have discussions on abortion, Biblical femininity, and how we can affect our communities.
God has blessed women to be uniquely different from men and that’s okay! Our femininity isn’t a negative thing, it’s nothing to shy away from. It doesn’t take away from our intelligence. God has called each and every one of us to do something. Whatever is our calling, the chief purpose is to bring glory to God.
In a world where so many people are pulling us women to go one way- two different extremes- I want us to discuss how we can walk in whatever GOD has called us to do. How do we tune out all of the noise and listen to Him?
Activities: We will have speakers and discussion time. We will have games to get to know each other- as a community is very important. You will be able to take lots of pictures in your beautiful dress. We will also have giveaways from some of our favorite brands that support our values. Sponsors will be announced throughout the next few months. We will also have a contest for best dressed and more. If you are interested in sponsoring this tea party please email: hello.thoseothergirls@gmail.com
Tickets: This year’s tickets are $40. The $40 includes tea, pastries, and entries into giveaways and prizes. There are NO refunds. You can transfer ticket names by emailing hello.thoseothergirls@gmail.com put “Ticket Transfer” in the subject area.
Travel: If you do not live in the Charlotte/Monroe area, but want to have a fun weekend with the girlies please email hello.thoseothergirls@gmail.com “Travel to Charlotte” Mallory is working on a fun itinerary for girls traveling to the Charlotte area.
Attire: the theme is coquette. Think girlie, fantasy, dresses. You do NOT have to wear pink. Wear whatever color you love and feel the most beautiful in. We will have a contest for best dressed!
Please consider bringing:
Diapers (to be donated to Help Pregnancy Center)
Period Products (to be donated to Title 1 CMS schools)
There will be a special giveaway for everyone who decides to donate. One package equals one entry.
I can not wait to see everyone dressed up. I am praying for everyone that will be in attendance. I pray this will be a fun, edifying, and fruitful event. If you have any questions please reach out hello.thoseothergirls@gmail.com.
