Voice for the Voiceless 5k for Safe House Project

This will be one of the many "Voice for the Voice" community events we will be doing. On July 31st we will be getting together to particiapte in a 5k to raise money for Safe House Project. You do not have to be in the Charlotte area to participate. You can get a group to walk or run in your town. (If you want help or advice on how to put it together please reach out.)

"Safe House Project is uniting communities to end domestic sex trafficking and restore hope, freedom, and a future to every survivor. Safe House Project’s mission is to increase survivor identification beyond one percent through education, provide emergency services and placement to survivors, and ensure every survivor has access to safe housing and holistic care by accelerating safe house capacity and development across America. Safe housing and restorative care is critical to ending the cycle of victimization. Education is key to spotting, reporting, and ultimately, preventing trafficking."

We, Other Girls, are coming together to raise money for Safe House Project. This will be a great way to go out and try to make a tangible difference.
