Melanie Salazar is a proud Chicana / Latina from the great country of Texas. She will be graduating summer 2021 from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Communication and a double minor in Spanish and Civic Engagement.

Melanie loves to dance, watch horror movies, travel, take her dog Manolo on adventures, discern the vocation of marriage with her handsome boyfriend Jerry, and fight to end abortion! She is a former Campaign Intern, SCOTUS Squad member, Student Spokesperson, and Texas Regional Intern for Students For Life of America. She now interns for a fostercare youth success program and as a sidewalk advocate with the San Antonio Coalition For Life. She also volunteers for a maternity home to teach Sexual Risk Avoidance and fertility awareness to pregnant and parenting young moms.
