When you hear the word legacy, what comes to mind? Money? Success? Influence?
The truth is, legacy is much more than those things. Legacy is the ripple effect of your daily choices — the conversations you have, the actions you take, the way you treat others, and the faith you live out boldly. Every word, every decision, and every act of courage is building something lasting.
Legacy is so much more than just those things. With everything that’s happened recently, I’ve been reflecting deeply on what it truly means. I’ve even been digging into research about leaving a legacy. For me personally, I want to leave behind a legacy that is good, lasting, and meaningful.
Legacy is the ripple effect of your daily choices — the conversations you have, the actions you take, the way you treat others, and how you live out your faith. Every word and every decision is a step to building your legacy.
Think about it:
The coworker who feels encouraged because you prayed for her.
The friend who sees you choosing holiness over compromise.
The young girl watching you step boldly into your calling.
These small, consistent acts are the building blocks of legacy.
Legacy Isn’t Someday — It’s Today
Sometimes we imagine legacy as something for “later in life.” But our legacy is being written right now, in this very season. Whether you’re in your 20s, 30s, or beyond, we are shaping the future through the choices we make today.
