In today’s society, when we talk about women’s healthcare, Planned Parenthood comes up often. Across the country, there are thousands of clinics and organizations offering compassionate, comprehensive care that don’t profit from abortion. Whether you’re looking for STI testing, prenatal care, pregnancy support, or someone to simply walk with you there are other options.
Here’s some stats about Planned Parenthood:
Planned Parenthood markets itself as a comprehensive healthcare provider, but:
Over 96% of its pregnancy-related services end in abortion
It’s the largest abortion provider in the U.S.
They are increasingly pushing abortion pills to minors, often without parental consent
Many of their non-abortion services (like prenatal care or adoption referrals) are either minimal or not offered at all
1. Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
These are government-funded clinics that serve anyone, regardless of insurance status or income. They offer:
Pap smears
Breast exams
STD testing and treatment
Prenatal care
General health screenings
Family planning (non-abortive)
There are over 13,000+ locations nationwide, and they do not perform abortions.➡️ Find one near you
2. Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs)
These are nonprofit, faith-based centers offering:
Free pregnancy tests
Ultrasounds
STI testing
Parenting classes
Diapers, formula, baby clothes
Post-abortion healing programs
Counseling and community referrals
There are more PRCs than abortion clinics in the U.S.—roughly 2,700 vs. 800.➡️ Find one via Option Line or Care Net
3. Pro-Life Medical Networks
Some pro-life healthcare providers now offer full women’s health services through a moral, ethical lens.
Examples:
Obria Medical Clinics – full OB/GYN care, prenatal services, STD testing, education
Bella Health + Wellness (Denver) – pro-life Catholic women’s clinic
MyCatholicDoctor – virtual access to NFP-only, pro-life doctors
Fertility Awareness + NFP Instructors – great for those avoiding artificial birth control
4. Free & Low-Cost Local Clinics
Many communities have Christian or charity-run clinics that offer OB/GYN services or general women’s health. They’re often affiliated with:
Churches
Universities
Local non-profits
Use terms like “free women’s clinic near me” or search on FreeClinics.com to see what’s available in your area.
